Very excited I have just finished hanging a new show of my work at the Shake Shack in New Haven, CT!

Description: This work is quite large, it is painted with acrylic paint on a single piece of unstretched canvas. It is 134" wide and 46" high. Signed on the back and initialed in the lower right hand corner.

This is the second large scale work (the first is a recently installed commission) of overabundant plant life, vegetables and creeping vines. To help gain inspiration I listened to "Walden" by Henry David Thoreau as I worked. An inspiring quote:

“For I was rich, if not in money, in sunny hours and summer days and I spent them lavishly.” — Walden by Henry David Thoreau

Description: This work is quite large, it is painted with acrylic paint on a single piece of unstretched canvas. It is 101" wide and 46" high. Signed on the back and initialed in the lower right hand corner.

It is part of an environmental series I have produced called "Renewables". This particular work was inspired by time spent viewing the many solar panels on drives throughout the green state of Vermont.

Blowing in the Wind
Blowing in the Wind

Description: The sun bears down brightly on the fields of eastern France. The wind blows through flowers, fields of grain and energy producing windmills. This painting is part of my "Renewable" Series - addressing the relationship of energy and the landscape. It was inspired by scenes I sketched in eastern France during an artist residency in the summer of 2014. As with most of my work, this is painted on unstretched flat, unprimed canvas.
